The Mass Spectrometry Core was established in late 2011 and currently is comprised of two mass spectrometry systems. We provide a number of proteomics approaches for users' applications, including characterization of protein-protein interactions, composition analysis of complex protein mixtures, quantitative analysis of protein abundance, and characterization of post-translational modifications such as phosphorylation, ubiquitylation, and acetylation. Please consults our Resources page for details on instrumentation and the proteomics approaches that we employ.

The Mass Spectrometry Core currently operates on a collaborative basis and provides services at cost. The faculty adviser for the Mass Spectrometry Core is Nevan Krogan.

We are open to all UCSF and Gladstone investigators! Please visit our Resources page for more information.
