Research Associate
The Gan lab is seeking a highly motivated college graduate to support ongoing studies aiming at finding novel therapeutic strategies for Alzheimer’s disease and other neurodegenerative diseases. The successful candidate will become part of an interactive team and work closely with postdocs, students and other research associates. Duties include mouse colony maintenance, brain perfusion and sectioning, stem cell culture and engineering, and immunohistochemistry. May also work with postdocs in performing western blot, cell culture and behavioral studies. Requirements: B.S in biological science or other related disciplines with lab experiences beyond course work. Excellent organizational capabilities, attention to details and interpersonal communication skills are also essential. One-year minimal commitment.
